The Kampala-based consultancy will run accreditation, the press room and the daily bulletin for the three-day forum in November.
KAMPALA, 11 September — KR Media Limited has been appointed media partner for the East Africa Trade Forum, taking responsibility for the accreditation of regional press, the operation of the forum press room and the production of a daily bulletin distributed to 42 outlets across the region.
The appointment follows a competitive process run by the forum secretariat in August. KR Media will field a team of eleven, including four editors drawn from theKampalaReport.com, the company's own newsroom.
"A forum is judged by what gets reported out of it," said Alex Bagenzire Atuhaire, Executive Editor at KR Media Limited. "Our job is to make sure a journalist arriving on day one can file by lunchtime — accredited, briefed and with the numbers in hand."
The forum runs from 18 to 20 November at the Kampala Serena Conference Centre and is expected to draw delegations from six countries. Accreditation opens on 1 October and closes on 7 November.
Ends.
KR Media Limited is a Kampala media house working across media consultancy, publishing, content development and marketing. It is the publisher of theKampalaReport.com. High-resolution images and the accreditation schedule are available on request.
